habitation

this summer is a time for nesting
and a time for spreading my wings.

ART JOURNALING
with no rules
PAINTING
with fingers
SKETCHING
with intuitive marks
READING
with colored pencil underlinings
PRAYING
with wordless prayers
BELIEVING
with small faith
FLYING
in to an open space
unknown, uncharted...
and finding space to nestle in.

  1. What a nice post. I am having trouble adjusting to the calm. I am home for the summer with my kids and it kind of feels like Wiley Coyote running so fast and running right off a cliff, feet still moving in the air before he looks down. Perhaps I just need to fall!

  4. Feet grounded with wings at the ready - love it! I love the colours in your piece - the brown is gorgeous with the blue and it's sort of a metaphor for the wings and the sky versus the feet and the earth :) Go, go, go - your Summer to-do list sounds freeing and wonderful!
